Woodturning – Nested Boxes
Participants will make a set of 3-4 nested boxes. Techniques include planning and calculation, precise measurements, precise turning, use of jam chucks, and finishing. This course is for wood turners who desire to continue to advance their turning skills. (4 weeks)
Prerequisite: Woodturning – 201 or Instructor approval.

Woodturning 101- Introduction to Woodturning
Learn the fastest growing craft activity in the USA. Class includes wood lathe operation, tools, safest turning techniques and fun turning activities of increasing complexity and projects to take home. Skill Level: Beginning. (8 weeks)
Prerequisite: Willingness to learn something new and fun.
Textbook: A Lesson Plan for Woodturning; sold in class $20.

Woodturning 401– Hollow Vessels
This course is for wood turners who desire to continue to advance their turning skills. Students will learn hollowing techniques using Ellsworth style hollowing tools (provided) as well as the new carbide cutter technology. The instructor will demonstrate all the steps necessary for hollowing and finishing a vessel and then students will progress at their own pace. Tools provided. A $30.00 wood fee payable to instructor at first class. (3 weeks)
